In order to process your order properly, the following information is needed at order entry:
* Data files uploaded must be formatted in Gerber 274X (Imbedded Aperture Files) or Gerber 274D (Separate Aperture File) .
* NC Drill Files (Excellon format)* Drill Chart & Drill Type REQUIRED (Plated and non-plated)
Fabrication Drawings/notes detailing:
* Material Type
* Board Thickness
* Layer count
* Multi-layer construction if applicable
* Dimensions for part and route features
* Array/panelization drawing if applicable
* Surface Finish Type
* Number of Solder Masks /Color/type
* Number of Legends/location/Color
* Special process parameters and requirements
Fab drawings may be supplied in the following format:
* HPGL files
* Adobe PDF
* Autodesk DXF
* Autodesk DWG
Incomplete files or deviations between the Fabrication drawing/data and quotation could jeopardize lead-time. Please indicate emergency contact number for short lead-time orders in your order entry profile.
File Naming Rules
* All files included in ZIP file must be named with 10 characters max, made up of LETTERS AND NUMBERS ONLY, and NO SPACES followed by a period and three letter extension
* The simplest naming procedure would be to name the files by their layer position:
* *TopLegend.gbr;
* TopMask.gbr;
* Topcirc.gbr;
* Botcirc.gbr;
* BotMask.gbr;
* BotLegend.gbr;
* NCdrill.drl
*Please Note: We highly recommend using this format. It greatly increases file accuracy, speeds up quote time and allows for easier manufacturing.
* Please be sure to keep all Zip File names unique, as we receive hundreds of Zip files on a daily basis.
Zip File Content
* Gerber Formats RS274X (Imbedded Apertures) are preferred! Gerber RS274D (Separated Apertures) are accepted but may be subject to a $35.00 charge for additional engineering time. We highly recommend the use of Gerber RS274X, which does not require the separate output of aperture files. Please remember to send a single, comprehensive aperture list for all 274D files, as opposed to sending an individual aperture file for each 274D file.
* All other files containing Fabrication information and specifications should be in PDF, DXF, DWG and HPGL format. Other formats are not acceptable.
* All drill files (NCD files) must be in Excellon format.
* The Fabrication information must include a board outline (dimensionally labeled), Drill pattern, Drill chart, plated and non-plated information and pertinent manufacturing specifications.
* Text files ("ReadMe.txt" files) can be submitted containing manufacturing notes/special process notes, contact information and layer description
